update

We have been fairly quiet of late; this is partly due to some refocusing on what we really want to concentrate on, along with also being very busy with life itself. We hope to get ourselves settled soon.

Melamine and what not to eat

Amazing the range of products that may have been contaminated with melamine. Near the bottom of this email, there are manufacturere’s labels and types of food (from China) to avoid to be on the safe side……………….CK

News reported yesterday, it’s no longer only milk and milk made product has been affected by the melamine; the problem has been found that it’s widely spread to animal farm, and the eggs from China has already from the dangerous percentage of melamine contained. Is that means the chicken from China also get affected? Then, the pork? the beef? and the lamb? Is there anything labeled with the potient will rating a better price has not been targetted by those greedy heartless traders?

How can we avoid posion milk and posion milk products?

Dabbleboard - a collaborators dream?

This looks an interesting site. I like the way they have made the user interface almost so intuitive that you don’t use the toolbar too much - just point and click.

Also the idea of being able to share and let others make comments and adjustments to your page could have big potential for distance collaboration. In a world where long journeys for business are being replaced by large oval meeting tables that are replicated across organisations and cutting the need to travel. Although what is stopping me from writing on a big marker pad and holding it to the camera? well I guess it stops the other party making his own adaptations to that drawing.

I will be trying this in the future.

Mother’s flash back diary

God, I can’t believe that I am going to be a mother,
Somedays later, I will be a mother,

天,沒想到自己快將為人母了,
而且會是一個肥媽,
對生活和生命的看法,應該豁達一點吧!

My daughter and I have been drinking Yili and Mengniu milk. What can we do?

Mid Autumn festival

This was a great find. We passed by this village in China to see a large group of people celebrating the mid autumn festival. We were treated to a lantern being lit and then watching it fly higher and higher into the sky.

We couldn’t get too close so we took this video as close as we could.

Planning my life part 2

It’s been a while since part 1, but other things have just got in the way. I still feel I need to do this so now it is time to evaluate what my current week is usually like and to see where I can make changes.

Now is the time to say that my better half didn’t quite get a full week recorded, in fact she didn’t manage to get half way. She did do a very good job on the first day. So I will have to make my evaluation first and see if it will prompt her to do it too.

Dreamscape

This is almost a little reminder for me of a dream I had last night. It seemed to be war between two armies ech holding puppet banners. It may be a good idea for an illustration.

Vector Polishing Techniques

I had an episode at work today where I received an illustration, from the illustrator, but it really didn’t look ‘finished’. I ended-up making a few minor tweaks in order to be able to use it. Reminding me of a tutorial I stumbled on a while ago that covered this area.
